BUFFALO, N.Y. — Educators and City Officials met at Medaille College Thursday to announce “Say Yes to Education,” a partnership involving 20 colleges and universities aimed at making higher education a reality for Buffalo public and charter school students.
“Say Yes to Education” is a community-based system and we are going to dramatically increase the high school graduation rate, the college matriculation for Buffalo Public and Charter School Students, with a commitment of 20 years,” said David Rust.
Rust is the Executive Director of Say Yes to Education Buffalo. Say Yes to Education is a national non-profit committed to increasing high school and college graduation rates. So far, locally, more than $17 million has been raised to fund the scholarship component of the program.
