Current “Teach Out Partner” Transfer Options (listed alphabetically):

Medaille has established “Teach Out” agreements with several local institutions that will facilitate smooth transfer processes at no cost to students; currently 12 institutions are participating and all but three are Say Yes partners.

If you would like Medaille to send your academic and financial aid records to the below listed institutions, you must sign this FERPA form authorizing the release of your records.

Please note that schools listed below in red are NOT Say Yes partner schools, meaning if you transfer there you will not be eligible for a Say Yes scholarship. Questions about financial aid and scholarship must be directed to those schools individually.

FAQs

  1. Can I attend any Say Yes partner institution?

Yes, however if you are interested in attending one of our Private Partner schools it is important to look at how many scholarships, they offer to Say Yes Scholars. For example, some institutions only offer 5 or 10 scholarships to new students each year whereas others offer an unlimited number. We are in the process of reaching out to all Say Yes Buffalo Private Partner schools that offer a limited number of scholarships and that are also “Teach Out” schools, to better understand what opportunities might be available to Medaille transfer students. We will update this page as we learn more.

  1. What if I want to transfer to a college that is not one of the “Teach Out” partners?

You can apply to transfer to any school you want to, however, if it’s not one of the “Teach Out” partners you will have to go through a regular application and transfer process according to that school’s guidelines and you may have already missed the deadline to transfer and start this fall. You should also consider if the school you want to transfer is a Say Yes partner school so that you can still access our scholarships.

  1. How/Will my Medaille credits transfer to another school?

You will need to contact the school you want to transfer to and set up an appointment for them to review your Medaille transcript and advise you on how and what credits will transfer and what your path to completing your degree will look like.

  1. Do the teach out agreements just cover students who enroll for fall 2023? Or will it cover students who enroll after that? Is there a time limit?

We are working on getting an answer to this.

  1. If you are not a currently enrolled Medaille student, but were in the past, can you transfer with the teach out? Even if you withdrew? Is there a time limit for how long you not been enrolled?

We are working on getting an answer to this.
