Say Yes Buffalo offers a number of in-school supports for Buffalo Public and charter school students. Please see below for a list of of such services.

Buffalo Parents! Please check out our Family Support Resource Packet we developed and shared with our families in August 2020. It contains valuable information, everything from where to access mobile food pantries, to Erie County Department of Social Services and how to talk to your kids about racism!

Community Schools – We are proud to serve as a strategic partner with the Buffalo Public Schools in supporting and facilitating the Community Schools model in Western New York.

Early Childhood – Say Yes Buffalo has partnered with Niagara University and Help Me Grow WNY in an effort to prepare students for success starting off in Kindergarten.

Health Homes Care Coordination – A free program in partnership with an approved children’s Health Home available to children in select Buffalo Public and Buffalo Charter schools. Learn more below.

Legal Clinics – Say Yes Legal Clinics are staffed by local attorneys in schools around the city. They are available on a walk-in basis to provide free advice on non-criminal matters.

Mental Health Clinics – Say Yes has helped to bring mental health services directly into school buildings in an effort to increase access for students.

Preventive Services – Through this program, our staff, called Family Support Specialists, are stationed within Buffalo schools to help students with attendance or behavior problems to get back on track.
