How to apply for financial aid

Create your FSA ID

Both students and their parent/guardian must create their own FSA IDs. Create your FSA ID.

Apply for the FAFSA

See below for the information you will need to complete this form. Apply for FAFSA.

Apply for TAP

Once you complete the FAFSA, you should be prompted to click and apply for TAP. If not, follow the link here.

If you are an undocumented student, click here to apply for TAP under the DREAM Act.

What you will need


Valid Email Address for both student and parent/guardian


Social Security Numbers for student, and parent(s) if applicable


Parents birth dates and dates of marriage/divorce if applicable


Permanent resident card (if you have one) or Alien Registration Number if applicable


2022 Tax return (federal & state)/ record from two years prior for 2024-2025 school year


W2 or documentation of money earned from other sources


Siblings names/social security numbers if enrolled full-time in college also


NYS ID number (Driver License number)
