Barbering & Cosmetology Scholarships
A total of SIX scholarships are available to every graduating class
Do you have a passion for doing hair? Are you interested in launching a career in the personal care industry? We have a scholarship for you!
Say Yes Buffalo now provides six scholarships up to $5,000 for Buffalo students to attend Barbering or Cosmetology programs through Erie 1 BOCES.
- Students must be Pell-eligible. (Not sure what that is? Email us!)
- Students must apply to BOCES and be accepted within one year
- Students must provide a personal statement essay or video describing why they would be a good candidate
- Students must also provide a letter of recommendation
- Students who receive a BOCES scholarship remain Say Yes eligible for scholarships at participating two- and four-year institutions.
