To be eligible for a Say Yes internship opportunity you must:
- Be a Say Yes Buffalo Scholar. Learn about eligibility here.
- Have completed an associate’s degree or be entering your sophomore, junior or senior year of college
- Have developed a professional resume and cover letter and worked with staff in your college’s internship or career services office to gather expert feedback and guidance to polish both (Click here to find contact information for your college’s career center)
- Have carefully read the description of the internship(s) you are applying for and feel confident that you have the skills and education required to be a strong candidate for the position(s)
Want to apply but need help with transportation?
If you are awarded a paid internship and need help traveling to/from the work site Say Yes will provide you with bus/train tokens for the duration of your internship.

If you apply for a Say Yes Internship Program opportunity, you are agreeing to have Say Yes Buffalo forward your application materials (e.g. your resume) to both the organization to which you are applying as well as your college career center. You are agreeing that your college career center has permission to follow-up with you to help assist you in the application/interviewing process.
